Temporary Farm Entrance
- 3 Brewers

Listen up concrete fans, the entrance to the farm is getting a brand new driveway to seamlessly dovetail with the nearly new surface on Symondshyde Lane.
The work will take place over the next few weeks until 18th May and there will be no access to the farm from the normal entrance on Symondshyde Lane. So, to get to the farm and to the brewery we're setting you a challenge worthy of Top Gear back in its heyday. This will sound worse than it actually is, but bear with us, we think you'll grow to love it.
Basically you need to take a track off Coopers Green Lane. It's probably best to approach from the Welwyn Garden City end of Coopers Green Lane. Coming from the other end (St Albans) it's a pretty tight left double back, probably OK in a car going extra slow, probably not doable in an 18 ton truck. So we'd suggest approaching from the WGC end.
More details to help locate the start of the track:
The postcode is AL10 9BQ
What 3 Words is hung.labs.short
On Google Maps the lane almost opposite is marked as White Gate Cottages
On Apple Maps the lane almost opposite is marked as Great Braitch Lane
On Waze the lane almost opposite is unmarked
Travelling from the Green Lanes / Coopers Green Lane roundabout travel towards St Albans you need to go around 500-600 metres. You will see a brick house on the right (pictured above) and the track is immediately after that. Approach slowly, be mindful of quick traffic coming in the opposite direction, turn right onto the track and you've done the tricky bit. It's recently been gravelled so it's fine for most vehicles. Carry on along the track for about 1.5km and you're at the farm. There's a dog leg in the middle, and the views are awesome. It's mainly single track but broadens out in several places for passing traffic.

Don't be put off! We're open as normal and with the weather getting better it's the most beautiful spot to enjoy a beer or two. And we've got a very special offer on a nearly new ironing board!
